About Ateba

Ateba reveals her dramatic story of one woman's drastic change from Prostitute to Professor in her heartfelt book called “Rescued: A Testimony of God's Saving Power.”

This book is a self-proclamation of victory from the debilitating chasm spiraling from incest, young parenthood, alcoholism, and prostitution. Who would have ever imagined that the man who brought Ateba into this world would shatter her emotions and innocence to pieces when he raped her? It took years to recover from the hurt and backlash caused by living as a child of sexual and physical abuse –- an environment which ultimately led to a life of struggling to survive and longing to be loved.

It wasn’t until words of destiny flowed from Ateba’s son’s lips, “Mommy, I want to be a preacher,” that she realized she needed to make a drastic change. Realizing that she couldn’t help her son become a preacher if she was a prostitute, she took steps to seek out her faith that eventually restored and healed her life. In her book, Ateba inspires all who read that when you have faith in God, you are no longer a victim of the past, and that with God all dreams are possible.

Ateba Crocker found her faith and wound up finding herself! She fought hard, prayed BIG PRAYERS and believed BIG. An even Bigger God moved her from prostitute to professor. She resides in Virginia where she continues to write motivational books for women.
